Job Title: Horticultural Specialist

Horticultural specialists play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are beautiful, functional, and sustainable. In this hands-on position, you will lead the care and presentation of expansive gardens, landscapes, and natural surroundings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance extensive gardens, lawns, and natural landscapes across our 200-acre site
  • Care for seasonal planting, pruning, fertilizing, and weed management to ensure optimal growth and health
  • Support irrigation, drainage, fencing, and landscape construction tasks to maintain the integrity of outdoor spaces
  • Evaluate and implement horticultural best practices for sustainability, soil health, pest management, and plant care
  • Collaborate with grounds and maintenance teams to monitor outdoor safety hazards and enhance outdoor spaces
  • Contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and rejuvenating environment for all guests

Requirements:

  • Qualification and experience in horticulture or groundskeeping required
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Confidence and physical fitness to manage an active outdoor role using power tools and outdoor machinery safely and effectively
  • Proven gardening and landscaping experience essential
  • A strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining natural beauty
