**Job Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Horticultural Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work outdoors and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of green spaces across our various council-controlled roadsides and open spaces.

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about horticulture, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including operating various mowing equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining and inspecting equipment, and ensuring that lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Complete service requests as required

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in gardening using push and ride-on mowers, brush cutters, hedgers, secateurs, weed control, and spraying. You will also need to hold a valid manual driver's license and a white card.
