A Day in the Life of a Housekeeper

  • You will be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, including vacuuming carpets and rugs, dusting furniture, and polishing fittings.
  • Making beds with fresh linens is also an essential part of your duties, ensuring residents' comfort and well-being.
  • Cleaning wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers is crucial in maintaining high hygiene standards.
  • Tidying personal items while respecting residents' privacy and preferences is also an important aspect of your role.
  • In addition to cleaning resident rooms, you will also be responsible for cleaning shared areas such as dining and common rooms.
  • You will use commercial cleaning equipment effectively and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Your knowledge of infection control principles will enable you to maintain a hygienic environment and ensure the well-being of our residents.

  • A competitive salary of $62,000 - $75,000 per annum, based on experience.
