EHS Safety Professional Wanted

Alstom is currently looking for a passionate Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) professional to join our team in Ballarat. As an accomplished EHS Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe and thriving workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to ensure the implementation of effective measures to control and mitigate risks.
  • Guide the EHS function on site, oversee induction programs for new starters and develop procedures tailored for our EHS Management System.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of the site, demonstrating a strong focus on compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in Workplace, Health and Safety (Diploma or similar).
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of local legal requirements, particularly in the context of Rail Safety.
  • Show initiative, drive, and resilience, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels within the project.
