Major Gift Fundraiser Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and driven fundraiser to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills and expertise to cultivate, acquire and steward major and mid-tier donors.

About the Role

This role reports to the Head of Advancement and involves:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Active management of a portfolio of prospective major and mid-tier donors
  • Support for donor events and communications
  • Maintaining effective records of donor engagement
  • Engaging in professional development to enhance skills
About You

This opportunity suits someone with:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, marketing or community engagement
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Excellent project management skills and time management
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and creative thinking
  • A sound knowledge of marketing, communications and fundraising principles
  • Previous experience working within a complex customer-focused organisation

This position requires flexibility, adaptability and innovation to meet changing needs, as well as autonomy when required.

Key Responsibilities: Cultivate key relationships, manage donor portfolios, support donor events, maintain records, and engage in professional development.

Requirements: Proven fundraising experience, exceptional interpersonal skills, excellent project management skills, strategic planning, marketing, and fundraising principles knowledge.
