Job Description

This specialist role is focused on supporting clients in exploring all available large employer premium arrangements within the Australian workers' compensation market to ensure sound governance and ongoing due diligence.

The specialist will lead feasibility assessments and strategic planning for client workers' compensation programs, advise clients on eligibility criteria and regulatory requirements, and enhance tailored roadmaps including financial modeling, preparedness assessments, and application support.

Additionally, this role involves liaising with regulators and stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory obligations, providing ongoing advisory support for clients insured under all available large employer arrangements, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated risk solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical claims, premium, and self-insurance expertise across all Australasian jurisdictions, experience working across different large employer premium arrangements, and experience consulting with jurisdictional workers' compensation and safety regulators.

  • Lead feasibility assessments and strategic planning for client workers' compensation programs.
  • Advise clients on eligibility criteria and regulatory requirements for all available large employer alternate workers' compensation (WC) arrangements.
  • Enhance tailored roadmaps, including financial modeling, preparedness assessments, and application support.
  • Liaise with regulators and stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory obligations.
  • Provide ongoing advisory support for clients insured under all available large employer arrangements, including claims governance, reporting, and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated risk solutions.
