Event Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of conferences, meetings, and special events.

Job Description:

As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for setting up, servicing, and packing down events of all sizes. You will work closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service delivery and liaise with event hosts to meet their requirements.

Key responsibilities include monitoring cleanliness and presentation of function areas throughout the event, assisting with audio-visual or equipment setup where required, and following RSA and WHS procedures at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in functions, banquets, or events is preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and guest service skills are essential
  • Ability to follow event briefs and adapt to changing requirements
  • A team player who can work calmly under pressure
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Valid NSW RSA certification is essential
  • Physically fit and able to move equipment and furniture safely
