Project Management Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead diverse teams of developers and oversee the modernisation of software suites. The successful candidate will work within cross-disciplinary teams comprising scientists, business representatives, geospatial professionals, and IT specialists.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading development teams to maintain and enhance the application suite.
  • Collaborating with business users to translate requirements into software improvements and preparing detailed work and sprint plans.
  • Managing delivery schedules, DevOps workflows, resolving technical issues, and providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Conducting planning and performance reviews for development staff and overseeing product quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary IT project teams, including coordinating remote and in-office staff for effective collaboration.
  • Working within enterprise-wide systems and architectures to optimize outcomes for business areas.
  • Utilising geospatial data (e.g., data arrays, complex 3D arrays) in applications (highly desirable).
  • Modernising legacy applications to cloud environments (highly desirable).
