Role Overview

The Radiographer role involves delivering high-quality radiographic imaging services in a dynamic hospital environment. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of effective patient care strategies.

You will work closely with clinicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to high-quality radiographic imaging across various modalities.
  • Maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance radiography services.
Requirements
  • Degree in medical radiation science - diagnostic or equivalent.
  • Current AHPRA registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPB).
  • Holds current EPA IA14Y Radiation Licence.
  • Previous experience in hospital settings including theatre, CT, mobile, and trauma radiography.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety and infection control principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently as required.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and time management skills in a clinical setting.
