Job Opportunity in Medical Imaging

Blue Mountains Hospital is seeking a skilled Medical Radiation Scientist/Radiographer to join our team.

This role will involve working in a dynamic and inclusive environment, participating in continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing service delivery and outcomes.

The medical imaging department is well-equipped and provides a broad range of services including general X-ray, theatre imaging, CT, and ultrasound.

As a Radiographer at Blue Mountains Hospital, you will be integral to delivering excellence in clinical care and working closely with a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.

You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including theatre, CT, mobile and trauma radiography.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who can bring their skills and knowledge to this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver patient-centered care
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in medical radiation science-diagnostic or equivalent
  • Current/provisional registration with AHPRA (Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia)
  • Holds current EPA IA14Y Radiation Licence
  • Previous experience in a hospital environment
