About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at ALS. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in providing generalist HR advisory services and managing a small portfolio of open vacancies across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide generalist HR advisory services to employees and management
  • Manage a small portfolio of open vacancies across multiple business units
  • Partner with employees to provide generalist and recruitment advice
  • Lead end-to-end people and culture activities, including employee experience and engagement initiatives, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations and interpretation, talent management, coaching and development, performance management, and HR projects, reporting and analytics
Requirements
  • Values-based and customer-focused HR professional
  • Ability to communicate professionally and provide timely, accurate advice
  • Ability to quickly build trust-based relationships across the organisation
  • Strong team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude
  • Comfortable operating flexibly and autonomously at times
  • Well-organised, with an attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Computer literate, with skills in Microsoft office products and ideally HR systems
