About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Generalist to join our team at ALS. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in providing generalist HR advisory services and managing a small portfolio of open vacancies across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide generalist HR advisory services to employees and management
  • Manage a small portfolio of open vacancies across multiple business units
  • Partner with employees to provide generalist and recruitment advice
  • Lead employee experience and engagement initiatives
  • Recruit and onboard new employees
  • Manage employee relations and interpretation
  • Talent management, coaching, and development
  • Performance management
  • HR projects, reporting, and analytics
Requirements
  • Values-based and customer-focused HR professional
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build trust-based relationships across the organisation
  • Strong team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude
  • Comfortable operating flexibly and autonomously
  • Well-organised with attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Office products and ideally HR systems
