Major Research Initiatives Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead the coordination of major research initiatives, including funding proposals and multi-institutional research collaborations. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in developing and implementing strategic plans to secure external funding for research projects.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate high-level discussions and negotiations with internal stakeholders and external partners. They will also have a deep understanding of the research landscape, including current trends, opportunities, and challenges.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to secure external funding for research projects
  • Lead the coordination of major research initiatives, including funding proposals and multi-institutional research collaborations
  • Facilitate high-level discussions and negotiations with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, industry partners, and government agencies

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Masters or PhD in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in research management and administration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A deep understanding of the research landscape, including current trends, opportunities, and challenges
