Climate Action Initiative Director

The Climate Action Foundation is seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead the planning, delivery and growth of its climate action initiatives. This full-time role involves strategic leadership, hands-on project management and stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience working with government, funders and partners. They will be a strategic thinker able to manage complex projects and translate vision into action.
Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end planning and delivery of climate action week programs, supporting the board in developing and executing the foundation's multi-year strategy, developing and managing relationships with stakeholders, and overseeing program development and logistics.
About YouYou are a mission-driven leader with a deep commitment to climate action and systems change. You have proven experience in executive leadership, program management or operations roles in a mission-driven or innovation-focused environment.
- Strategic leadership and project management expertise
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working with government, funders and partners
- Strong financial, governance and risk management capabilities
- Commitment to inclusion, cultural safety and co-design approaches with First Nations communities
