Responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive treatment plans for detainees with diverse and complex needs.
- Offering expert advice on the care and support of detainees with disabilities and complex needs.
- Maintaining accurate monitoring systems to assess the effectiveness of treatment options.
- Contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in assessing and intervening with individuals who have complex psychosocial and/or physical needs.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a correctional environment with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Eligibility requirements include:
- Proven experience working with detainees is necessary.
- A current driver's license is required.
- Registration under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Check) Act 2011 is mandatory.
- A valid Police Record Check is also required.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency/valid work visa is essential.
