About the Role

The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for leading the organisation into its next chapter of growth and advocacy.

This is a leadership opportunity to shape and execute the organization's long-term strategic direction, represent the industry with government, regulators, and media, strengthen partnerships with member clubs, corporate partners, and industry stakeholders, ensure the financial and organisational sustainability of the organisation, and build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a strong values-based culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve organisational goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government, regulators, and industry partners.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organisation.
  • Ensure effective governance and risk management practices are in place.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of executive leadership experience.
  • Strong background in advocacy, government relations, or public policy.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and media skills.
  • Commercial and financial acumen with a track record of organisational performance.
  • Experience in member-based, not-for-profit, or regulated sectors.
