Job Title: Patient Admissions Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to providing exceptional patient care.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual who will be responsible for performing administrative functions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support effective patient care.

Duties include collecting demographic details, interviewing patients for financial elections, processing admissions and discharges, and associated administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, and possess a demonstrated aptitude for teamwork and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect Demographic Details: Accurately register patients by collecting their demographic information.
  • Interview Patients for Financial Elections: Conduct interviews with patients to determine their financial election status.
  • Process Admissions and Discharges: Coordinate the admission and discharge of patients, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties, such as data entry and record-keeping.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for teamwork and problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
