The role of Operations Director is critical in strengthening operational excellence across Yalari's core business functions.

This leadership position requires a commercially-minded leader with demonstrated experience in HR and people leadership, capable of fostering capability development, cultural alignment, and high-performing teams.

  • Lead operational services with a strong focus on HR and people leadership to drive growth and impact.
  • Inspire and guide a team of cross-functional experts to achieve strategic organisational goals.
  • Foster a culture of excellence by embedding quality systems and risk-aware thinking into daily operations.

Responsibilities include overseeing core functions including People & Culture, ICT and data analytics, marketing, risk and WHS, quality, property and facilities, volunteer management, and administration.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR/people leadership, including talent management, culture, and workforce capability development.

They will also have a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver organisational outcomes, strong governance and risk management capability, commercial acumen, entrepreneurial problem-solving skills, financial literacy, and relationship-building skills across staff, volunteers, communities, sponsors, and government partners.
