About the Role:

As a key member of the Workforce Australia For Individuals team, the Explosives Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of drill and blast activities at our Tarrawonga Mine site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Drill and Blast Superintendent to coordinate pre-blasting clean up and preparations, ensuring patterns are established and operations run smoothly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing overall mine site productivity and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including drill and blast operators, to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Participate in performance monitoring and reporting, providing insights to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
