About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join our team at Lineage Logistics. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and leading our procurement strategy for the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Strategy Development: Identify, evaluate, and select appropriate sourcing strategies across all spend categories in collaboration with key business leaders and stakeholders.
  • People Management: Lead a team across the region, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to ensure the success of our procurement operations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential procurement risks, such as supply chain disruptions or price fluctuations, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Process Improvement: Implement, standardize, and manage procurement tools and systems to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce errors.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular and detailed procurement reports that provide insights into spending patterns, supplier performance, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Vendor Management: Manage key contracts and vendors across all spend areas, including consumables, MHE, electricity, capex, and labor hire.
  • Category Management: Implement supplier rationalization, spend reduction, and spend optimization/value engineering initiatives to drive business value.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Review and analyze vendor KPIs, such as pallets, MHE, stretch wrap, PPE, and other key metrics.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Integration: Coordinate M&A and integration activities related to sourcing and procurement to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business or procurement (or similar) or equivalent procurement management experience, ideally within the warehousing and/or supply chain industries.
  • Skills: Ability to develop critical insights and make strategic recommendations based on data, key metrics, and business requirements. Impressive credentials as a strategic procurement professional with strong commercial acumen.
  • Experience: Experience in leading procurement teams in large, geographically dispersed, complex environments. Track record of category management, procurement governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Proficiency in procurement software and other related IT systems. Ability to think critically and innovatively to identify optimal procurement solutions across the region.
