As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of fleet processes, including the acquisition, leasing, and disposal of vehicles in line with policies and procedures.

You will act as the primary point of contact for all fleet-related enquiries, providing exceptional customer service and expert advice on purchasing and fleet management.

Additionally, you will manage insurance requirements, including reporting on asset thefts, damages, and disposals. You will also coordinate all fleet accident and incident claims, ensuring accurate record-keeping and processing of insurance claims.

Collaboration with external suppliers, service providers, and internal stakeholders is essential to ensure the efficient provision of goods and services related to the fleet.

You will develop and implement systems and processes for effective fleet management and support staff training on the online requisitioning system, recommending system improvements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in fleet management, with a strong background in purchasing, procurement, finance, or contracts management.
  • Tertiary qualification in fleet management, finance, procurement, legal/contracts management, or a related business field.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Victorian fleet policies and experience in managing fleet compliance and insurance.
