Overview

Microsoft's Enterprise Account Team focuses on empowering customers to achieve their AI Transformation goals. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for envisioning new possibilities for our customers, delivering solutions that drive targeted business outcomes, and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Insights
    • Combine business and industry insights to develop strategic account plans aligned with customer objectives.
    • Orchestrate cross-regional teams to gather information and identify potential risks in customer accounts.
    • Articulate industry-related market trends and customer threats, opportunities, and barriers to growth.
  • Trusted Advisor
    • Provide account thought leadership across IT, business strategy, and the broader technology landscape.
    • Leverage account thought leadership to set strategy, own accountability for outcomes, and lead extended teams.
    • Create enduring connections and feedback loops with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Technology Strategy Formulation
    • Lead analysis of customer business needs, desired outcomes, and operating environment.
    • Create mid and long-term technology and business roadmaps for highly prominent accounts.
    • Challenges and validates the strategy and plan with customer stakeholders.
  • Technology Sales: Demand Generation and Orchestration
    • Create, develop, and drive opportunities based on industry best practices.
    • Leverage partners and multiple channels to create demand.
    • Lead efforts to reach out to key stakeholders through a lens of customer-obsession.
  • Differentiated Value Proposition
    • Act as the customer's Technology Mentor in established relationships.
    • Lead customer business transformations through digital technologies.
    • Partner with a line-of-business leader to articulate how Microsoft technology will meet future business needs.
  • Mapping and Account Planning
    • Help customer technical specialists build the message to sell Microsoft offerings.
    • Orchestrates internal teams and local partners to ensure sufficient technical resources for demand generation.
    • Establishes best practices and standards around account planning.
  • Education and Thought Leadership
    • Leads customer technology engagement by engaging and influencing technical resources.
    • Drives innovations to help customers meet capacity and capability goals.
