About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Blacktown. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support, providing a listening ear and a helping hand when needed.
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, promoting independence and mobility.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and other conditions.

Requirements
  • Some experience as a care or support worker, including experience with personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel to support our customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support, with a focus on customer-centered care.
