Our team is seeking a highly skilled WHS Support Officer to join their ranks.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide administrative support for the HSW team members as required with various tasks and functions. This includes assisting with incident investigations for worker incidents and hazards reported through the incident management system, providing user support and troubleshooting for HSW-related systems, and monitoring compliance with mandatory HSW training and certificates.

The ideal candidate will have a solid WHS experience in providing advice on workforce management policies and practices, coordinating recruitment, and analysis of workforce data.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • IV Health and Safety Certificate or equivalent

This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a government organisation within Brisbane on a 6-month contract + extension.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess great interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement and experience in preparing and reviewing workforce business cases.
