Compliance Management Opportunity

Metro Express seeks an experienced Compliance Manager to lead a high-performing compliance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safe and compliant deliveries in accordance with National Heavy Vehicle Law, fostering a culture of regulatory excellence.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain workplace health and safety processes and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of employee well-being.
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to maintain strict compliance with legislation, policies, and standards, driving operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
  • Design and execute comprehensive audit plans, overseeing regular subcontractor audits to ensure unwavering compliance.
  • Provide comprehensive training to staff, empowering them to effectively implement policies and support business objectives.
  • Prepare and present compelling compliance reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience managing a transport and logistics compliance function, demonstrating expertise in regulatory affairs.
  • Proven track record of successful NHVR and WH&S standard implementation, showcasing adaptability and resilience.
  • Strong administrative skills, including exceptional time management, task coordination, and analytical capabilities.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring meticulous accuracy in all aspects of compliance management.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office software, facilitating seamless data analysis and reporting.
