The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Client Services Representative to join our Customer Service team at our head office in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Processing client orders with precision, ensuring readiness and delivery dates align with air or sea freight requirements.
- Coordinating shipments with transport partners, shipping lines, and destination representatives.
- Preparing and managing quotations and reporting, including PO tracking.
- Tracking all international shipments within your client portfolio.
- Collecting, analyzing, and recording essential data.
- Resolving customer issues swiftly and efficiently.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Extensive knowledge of operational processes, backed by proven experience in a similar role within the Australian freight forwarding market.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, efficient, and organized approach to work.
- Experience with CargoWise (highly beneficial).
- The ability to excel both independently and as part of a team.
- Full Australian working rights.
