Regional Support Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Support Advisor to join our team at the Queensland Fire Department. As a key member of our Relations and Standards branch, you will play a critical role in ensuring our workforce upholds the highest levels of professional and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the development of organisational frameworks, policies and procedures to support regionally based Senior Advisors, Workplace Standards (SAWS).
- Conduct high-level research into current and emerging issues and trends relating to the prevention and management of unacceptable workplace conduct or corrupt cases, and oversight of grievance resolution.
- Provide advice and support on strategies and policy solutions to manage complex performance and conduct matters, and coach line managers on their implementation to build and retain an inclusive, diverse and capable workforce.
- Partner, engage and consult with key internal and external stakeholders to research, design and develop resources to support the regional SAWS network and educate line managers (including volunteers) to improve the management of employee conduct and performance.
- Highly desirable requirements include the ability to provide complex, strategic and operational leadership to effectively manage teams to deliver high quality services and achieve positive outcomes.
- Extensive knowledge and/or practical experience in human resources or employee relations or qualifications in these fields will be favorably regarded.
- Minimum C Class Driver's Licence (non-restricted).
