**About the Property Portfolio Analyst Role**As a key member of our market-facing underwriting teams, you will play a vital part in driving portfolio change and monitoring strategic execution. This role requires close collaboration with national underwriting teams, pricing, and analytical functions to identify areas for improvement across the underwriting process.The primary responsibilities of this position include:
  • Ownership of UW governance and exposure management for the team
  • Proactive support for the development of new or enhanced propositions based on technical, customer, and distributor insights
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualifications
  • Underwriting experience across disciplines (property, marine, and/or technical lines preferred)
  • Proven technical underwriting capability and a track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • A history of delivering change in a complex insurance environment
  • Proven ability to execute on strategic plans and company initiatives
  • ANZII CIP membership or equivalent experience
  • Commercially astute with a comprehensive understanding of the general insurance industry and products available
