Telecommunications Project Coordinator Job

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Telecommunications Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the delivery of infrastructure projects that make a difference in our communities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project deliverables and supporting day-to-day operations. This includes planning and communication to ensure smooth progress over a 1 to 3-month outlook.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate material requisitions and returns
  • Support the development and maintenance of project schedules
  • Communicate timelines and updates to field teams
  • Collaborate with contractors to support progress and performance
  • Assist with financial tracking and design updates
  • Review and manage open defects and contractor claims
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering quality outcomes
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Electrical, or Telecommunications Engineering (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • A solid understanding of telecommunications pit and pipe, and aerial optic fibre infrastructure
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders and subcontractors
  • Experience in project reporting and performance tracking
