About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Benefits Strategy & Design professional to join our dynamic Global Rewards team on a 12-month contract, focusing on benefits management across Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Local Benefits Programs: Oversee annual renewals of local benefit programs, including group risk insurances, pension plans, medical insurances, and health check programs.
  • Align with Global Strategy: Work closely with the Senior Director of Benefits Strategy & Design for APAC to ensure programs align with the global rewards strategy and comply with regional legislation.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Act as the go-to expert for APAC leave and benefits policies, providing support to the Employee Success team and advising on policy improvements.
  • Drive Benefits Utilisation: Develop and implement communications strategies to increase awareness and utilisation of benefits, including a year-round wellbeing calendar.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct annual benefits benchmarking exercises to assess program competitiveness and explore cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams like ES Business Partners, Payroll, People Operations, and Business Resource Groups to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors in APAC, managing vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience: 8-10 years in APAC benefits management, with a deep understanding of regional insurance practices, retirement programs (e.g., Superannuation), and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Autonomous Worker: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and exercise sound judgment across countries.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of benefits administration, with skills in storytelling, project management, and data analysis to support decision-making.

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per annum, depending on experience
