Senior Financial Operations Manager

About The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Senior Financial Operations Manager to oversee daily activities and administrative functions within our finance business. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day office operations, coordinating between teams, ensuring compliance, and streamlining processes to maintain a high level of efficiency and professionalism.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Operations Management
  • Coordinate daily tasks across various teams to ensure timely completion and meet set deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and client information to ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
Team & Workflow Management
  • Lead and direct team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor workload and delegate tasks effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and performance support of internal staff.
Compliance & Quality Control
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of client files.
  • Identify and address potential risks and areas for improvement.
Client Support & Relationship Management
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated client issues and resolve problems promptly.
  • Oversee service delivery standards to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and expectations.
Software & Systems Oversight
  • Administer core tools and software systems used by the finance team.
  • Monitor workflows and update templates to improve efficiency.
  • Recommend automation improvements to enhance productivity.
Key Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role or related field.
  2. Strong understanding of financial services, regulations, and industry standards.
  3. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  4. Familiarity with CRM systems, financial software, and cloud-based tools.
  5. Tier 2 or Tier 1 General Insurance certification is desirable but not essential.
