At MLC Limited, we're seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Portfolio Management team. As the Head of Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for promoting the control cycle across both Individual and Group businesses.

You will succeed in this role by fostering a culture of cross-functional challenge, identifying key risks, and areas of business potential profit volatility. As part of your responsibilities, you will also act as chair of the internal Insurance Risk Working Groups for our Individual and Group business.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a minimum of 12+ years of experience in product, pricing, portfolio management, and/or valuation actuarial experience within the life insurance and wealth management industry. You are also required to be a qualified actuary and a fellow of the Actuaries Institute.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in North Sydney or Docklands. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering a total customer experience that keeps our customers and partners at the forefront of all our decisions.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality results, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. You will be a qualified actuary with a minimum of 12+ years of experience in product, pricing, portfolio management, and/or valuation actuarial experience within the life insurance and wealth management industry.

You will be responsible for leading the portfolio management team to ensure that MLC Limited's risk control cycle delivers value to customers while achieving appropriate shareholder returns, and appropriately managing insurance risk.
