About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Research Scientist to join our team at The Skin Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects, contribute to the advancement of skin health, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • To conduct high-quality research in skin health, focusing on mechanisms of ectopic epidermal development, molecular mechanisms of cutaneous and ocular events during dupilumab therapy, and biologic mechanisms of response to antimicrobial therapy in hidradenitis suppurativa.
  • To analyze data using single cell and spatial transcriptomics techniques, and develop innovative research protocols.
  • To communicate research findings through presentations, publications, and collaborations with other researchers.
What You'll Need To Succeed
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as dermatology, molecular biology, or immunology, with the potential for PhD progression.
  • Excellent research skills, including experience with single cell and spatial transcriptomics, molecular biology, and bioinformatics.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Benefits

This 2-year research program offers a competitive salary of approximately $90,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development. Exceptional candidates may apply to extend their project to complete a PhD through an additional year of enrollment (subject to university approval).
