Job Description

We are seeking a talented professional to fill the role of Engagement Officer. This critical position will play a key part in managing relationships and expectations of new consumers and their representatives.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional skills in sales, communication, and relationship building, with a history of managing stakeholder relations and achieving sales targets. They will also be able to interact with a diverse range of cultures, backgrounds, and personalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be welcoming and engaging with customers and stakeholders
  • Manage and coordinate the intake, onboarding, and discharge of Consumers
  • Maintain and establish relationships with new potential consumers
  • Strong sales experience and a history of achieving sales targets/KPIs
  • Ongoing willingness to undertake sales and customer service training
  • Work well within a team and support colleagues
  • Provide clear and concise written handover of all newly onboarded clients to Care Advisors
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and oral)
  • Knowledge and experience in data management, including processing, storing, organizing, and maintaining databases and preparing statistical reports
  • Promote the service by attending trade stalls, visiting community centers, and similar
  • Demonstrated community development experience, liaison, and networking with internal and external stakeholders
  • Current Driver's License and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role

Desirable:

  • Solid working understanding of Home Care Packages and Commonwealth Home Support Program
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Standards
