We are seeking three Emergency Services Officers to join our health & safety team on 12-hour shift positions. Working in a team of two officers on shift, you will provide on-site medical and emergency response co-ordination by offering medical services to employees requiring treatment for emergency and non-emergency incidents.
You will integrate with the site Emergency Response Team to ensure timely and effective response to incidents for the protection and well-being of all site personnel, assets, and the environment. Site security access forms a crucial part of this role.
Main Responsibilities:
- Incident prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery to protect site personnel, the Refinery, and the Business.
- Site access control and security co-ordination, including reporting, administration, and area access management.
- Co-ordination of the Emergency Response Team to ensure readiness and availability for response prior to high-risk works commencement.
- Fire protection systems monitoring, response co-ordination, and maintenance reporting.
- Engagement with internal business units for emergency management and security services delivery, implementation, approval, and maintenance.
- Lead, advise, and train contract Emergency Services Officers as required.
- AOD specimen collection for suspicion/cause/FFW or random testing.
Key Qualifications:
- Cert IV Health Care and Cert III Mines Rescue certifications.
- Emergency Management experience in high-risk environments.
- A background in heavy industrial or resources sectors.
