NSW Events Security Officer Position

Tailored protection and security services for licensed venues require dedicated and professional individuals to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Access control is essential to ensure eligible patrons entry, with monitoring and control measures in place to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Regular patrols are conducted to deter suspicious activities and respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances.
  • A visible security presence is maintained to reassure staff and patrons, ensuring a safe environment through collaboration with event management and local law enforcement.
  • Compliance with relevant legislation, including RSA requirements, is maintained through accurate records of incidents, activities, and observations during shifts.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A current NSW Security Licence (Class 1A) is mandatory, along with a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate and current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • A professional and well-presented appearance is expected, with flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
