Expert Robotic Systems Specialist

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company that transforms U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.
We are developing multi-domain unmanned systems that leverage unsupervised autonomy for integrated multi-mission capability delivery to our customers.
This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to play a key part in developing new products and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior mechanical engineers on designing, prototyping, and fabricating complex robotic systems components.
- Work as a member of a small, high-achieving engineering team embracing diverse backgrounds.
- Become familiar with Anduril's technology capabilities and design, prototype, fabricate, build, integrate, and support field-testing systems.
- Perform structural, modal, and dynamic analyses on critical mechanical subsystems.
- Design and implement integrated systems, including advanced and sensitive products, delivering rapid capability beyond current systems.
- Empathize with end-users and drive solutions balancing their needs with external constraints.
- Contribute to technology component development across Anduril, aiming for reusable components across multiple product lines.
- Design, implement, and execute development processes for initial delivery and subsequent iteration of complex robotic systems, including full lifecycle testing.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
- Professional experience as a Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer with one or more domains/technologies of expertise.
- Capacity to work holistically on complex robotic systems across design, implementation, operation, and sustainment.
- Capacity to act as technical contributor for complex subsystems, including stakeholder engagement, requirements definition, roadmap management, team coordination, design, implementation, sustainment, and evolution.
