Personal Care and Activity Support

This role offers a unique blend of personal care and activity support services. As a dedicated professional, you will work closely with residents and community clients to enhance their overall wellbeing.

  • Provide personalized care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and meal support
  • Facilitate engaging social, recreational, and wellness activities tailored to individual interests and abilities
  • Support residents in participating in group and one-on-one activities promoting dignity, independence, and respect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality personal care services ensuring resident comfort, safety, and dignity
  • Develop and implement meaningful activity plans aligned with client needs and preferences
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of care and activity provided

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community) or equivalent qualification
  • Completion of Allied Health/Therapy Assistant course
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Manual handling and infection control training
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
