We are seeking a part-time Therapy & Leisure Partner to promote the physical and emotional well-being of residents in our Northam community. This role involves working collaboratively with allied health team members to support residents in maintaining optimal functional abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents to use and develop their abilities to engage in activities meaningful to them, ensuring their safety and sound work practices at all times.
  • Partner with allied health professionals to deliver person-centered support during therapeutic activities, adhering to individual care plans.
  • Foster open communication with family members, encouraging participation in daily life and supporting their loved ones.
Requirements
  • Experience working with dementia clients and providing leisure and therapeutic activities.
  • A Certificate III in Allied Health or relevant qualification is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrate a customer-centric approach, prioritizing the needs and comfort of each resident.
  • Collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment, adapting to changing circumstances as needed.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
