Job Opportunity: Manager People and Capability

 

  • Job Description: We are seeking a strategic HR leader to join our team. As Manager People and Capability, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of human resources and organisational development functions.

 

  • Key Responsibilities: Embedding modern HR systems, driving workforce planning, managing industrial relations, delivering practical, culturally appropriate training programs.
  • Aligning workforce capability with the Council's strategic goals.

 

  • Requirements: Sound experience in a senior HR, People and Culture, or Workforce Development role preferably within local government, public sector or a complex organisation.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in a community-focused environment, demonstrating integrity, cultural respect, and a solution-focused approach.
