About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Developer to join our team at ClearCompany. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-native solutions using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement technical solutions for data and grants calculations using AWS cloud-native services.
  • Present technical designs across various team forums and obtain approval from Enterprise Architecture.
  • Build and develop technical solutions associated with data and grants calculations.
  • Document technical designs and details in Confluence sites and technical risks in JIRA risk management system.
  • Review and groom user stories in JIRA from technical sub-tasks and component-level details.
  • Plan, review, and execute CI/CD tasks and deployment within the data and grants calculation squad.
Requirements
  • Solid hands-on experience in developing and implementing integrations using AWS cloud-native services including AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, AWS SES, AWS Step Functions, SQS, SNS, RDS, and Event Bridge.
  • Strong practical experience in using AWS observability services such as Cloud Watch (alarms, dashboards, metrics) and X-Ray.
  • Solid understanding of contemporary software engineering practices including microservice, DDD, and event-driven architectures, test-driven development, and continuous delivery.
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and standards (REST, JSON, etc.) and their application in building robust integrations.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, Azure AD-based SSO, and IAM for securing integration endpoints.
  • Experience in Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation using AWS CDK and Terraform.
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and design solutions accordingly.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with a focus on teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to write clear and comprehensive documentation for the code.
  • Familiarity with enterprise cloud best practices such as the AWS Well-Architected framework.
  • Working experience in creating entities, writing data rules, strategies for matching and survivorship, access provisioning in Master data management tools (preferably MDS).
  • Preferred working experience in AWS GLUE ETL and orchestration using AWS Lambda, S3, and Pyspark scripts.
  • Working experience in Azure Data Factory/Synapse Pipelines, Spark Notebooks, Stream Analytics, Azure Functions, and ADLS Gen2.
  • Working experience in AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Athena, RDS, Aurora, IAM, Cloud Watch, AWS CDK, AWS CLI.
  • Scheduling ETL jobs as per business requirement.
  • Comprehensive SQL, Power BI, and DAX knowledge and experience.
  • Solid experience in Python, Type Script/Java Script, SQL, and Type Script is preferred.
  • Experience in working with large complex Data Warehouses using the BI Stack within Azure and AWS cloud-based environments.
  • Working knowledge and experience in Agile (Scrum) processes and practices.
