Product Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products from farm to table.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular inspections of strawberry plants and agricultural produce to identify any product quality issues.
  • Auditing and monitoring quality procedures at packing sheds and food handling and processing facilities to ensure compliance with required standards.
  • Ensuring that required standards of hygiene are observed at storage, processing and packing facilities and in transport vehicles.
  • Providing advice to producers on fruit safety, handling and processing procedures.
  • Examining and advising staff members on fruit safety, handling and processing procedures and making quarantine arrangements as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Quality Control or three years of work experience in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of fruit handling, quality control, hygiene management, grading and packing management.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of $50,000 - $55,000 per year.
