About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Inspector to join our team. As a post-mortem inspection expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the fitness of animal carcasses and parts for human consumption.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough post-mortem inspections to identify non-acceptable carcasses
  • Accurately disposing of materials that do not meet standards
  • Supporting colleagues in maintaining high-quality meat export standards
  • Completing administrative tasks efficiently

To succeed in this role, you must have relevant experience as a Meat Safety Inspector in a red meat processing environment. You should hold either a Certificate IV in Meat Processing (Meat Safety) or a Certificate III in Meat Processing (Meat Safety), with completion of the former within 12 months of employment.

A comprehensive induction program is available for the successful candidate.
