
Governance Relations Specialist

This role offers a chance to work in governance and government relations. You will be responsible for providing high-level executive support to the Chancellor in their capacity as Convenor of the University Chancellors Council (UCC).
This pivotal role requires you to deliver secretariat services for the UCC, manage internal and external correspondence, and engage with Universities Australia, Chancellors from various institutions, and government departments and ministerial offices. You will also oversee event management for the National Conference on University Governance, manage the University Chancellors Council website, and lead governance projects and initiatives as directed by the UCC.

About This Role:
To be suitable for this role, you will need to have experience in a similar position within a university or comparable organisation. You should possess advanced organisational and management skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
Requirements:
- Post Graduate qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as business administration, policy, governance or law is required.
