Seeking a Drill & Blast Training Professional to deliver site-based, practical training and supervision directly on the bench. Key responsibilities include ensuring safe, efficient, and best-practice blasting operations, as well as train and develop production teams with proficiency training.
Requirements:- A recognised Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification is essential.
- An Open 'C' Class Manual Licence or above is also required.
- Standard 11 Induction is necessary for those based in Queensland.
- A Surface shotfiring licence would be an advantage.
- Previous experience with operator training, including safe handling, transport and use of explosives.
- The ability to coach and mentor personnel to promote best practices in blast design, charging, and firing procedures.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- High level of organisational skills.
- Problem solving skills.
