Aged Care - In-Home Support Worker (Western Sydney/Inner-west)

We are recruiting exceptional in-home care support workers to join our team to ensure we are providing holistic care for our clients.

Live Well will provide you with extensive training and support to prepare you for this important role in caring for our valuable clients.

When you join Live Well Home & Community Services, you become part of a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team that is redefining aged care standards in the industry.

Locations:

The Inner West (Strathfield and surrounding suburbs) - Female candidates with proficiency in Tamil are preferred, in line with client requirements.

Western Sydney (Norwest/Merrylands and surrounding suburbs) - Female candidates with proficiency in Arabic are preferred, in line with client requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to elderly clients in their homes
  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in activities
  • Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments
  • Perform light housekeeping duties
  • Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or equivalent
  • Previous experience in aged care, NDIS, or similar roles is preferred

Background and Skills:

  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

  • Availability for casual shifts
  • Valid police check or NDIS check
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
