This occupational therapist position offers a dynamic and rewarding work environment where you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering safe, effective, and efficient services to patients.
The role involves working across a diverse range of inpatient rehabilitation cases including medical, orthopaedic, neurological, reconditioning, and geriatric patients. You may also care for acute inpatients, day rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, and conduct home visits.
As an experienced occupational therapist, you will work closely with the team to ensure exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of acute hospital experience, a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent, and current registration with AHPRA.
- At least 1-year acute hospital experience
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
This is a part-time opportunity available at Gold Coast Private Hospital. As an occupational therapist, you will be working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, ability to work effectively within a team, and demonstrated ability to work autonomously. Sound knowledge of My Aged Care systems and referral process is highly regarded.
