This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective operation of site-based activities and services, providing a safe, efficient, and appropriate environment for staff, students, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate site-based activities and services to provide a safe and effective environment.
  • Assist the Infrastructure Operations Lead in delivering services as defined in agreed plans, schedules, and SLAs.

The Site Services Coordinator is responsible for supervising site-based facilities staff, coordinating rosters and cleaning schedules, managing leave, and participating in ongoing staffing requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to transformation and cultural change by promoting and modeling established values.
  • Supervise site-based facilities staff, coordinate rosters and cleaning schedules, manage leave, and participate in ongoing staffing requirements.
  • Coordinate and monitor site facilities services to achieve effective and efficient safety management at the site.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and report on activity in relation to site-based plans, SLA's, and schedules.

  • Coordinate and monitor activity associated with the hire of TQEC facilities to external groups.
  • Oversee daily transport/fleet operations at relevant campuses.
  • Provide leadership on individual and team performance and future goals.
  • Contribute to improvement in business processes and practices.
  • Ensure day-to-day activities align with business operations and adhere to the principles and practices of employment equity, ethical conduct, and workplace health and safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Able to effectively utilise and prioritise available resources and maintain associated information and administration systems.
  • Able to analyse a situation and provide an appropriate timely response to ensure corrective action is taken.
  • Sound level of Microsoft Office Suite skills and written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and work as a productive team member and interface with customers to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of contemporary human resource management.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Forklift Certificate, including operational skills.
  • Experience with fire systems.
  • Health and Safety Representative.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Fire Warden Activities.
