We are seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities.
">The successful candidate will have proven experience in facilities management, property management or related fields and will be able to inspire and develop their team.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- ">
Manage facilities as designated
">Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards
">Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement industry best-practice operations
">Implement building procedures and performance measures and ensure they are maintained at all times
">Ensure all Critical Environmental (CEM) requirements are met
">Review existing operations regularly to reduce costs and improve operational standards
">Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are implemented and maintained
">Financial Management:
">- ">
Actively work to ensure that the site's financial operations meet or exceed targets and control requirements
">Ensure financial processes are followed at all times
">Health and Safety:
">- ">
This role has responsibility and duty of care to work safely, taking reasonable care to protect their own health and safety and that of fellow workers and visitors and to comply with health and safety guidelines, policies and rules.
">Site Operations:
">- ">
24/7 emergency call support and site attendance is required
">Use and maintain a property database
">Prepare to develop a strong understanding of various property management database systems
">Complete, update and maintain applicable web-based management information systems, including uploading various property documentation
">Ensure all data is held accurately in our systems to allow payment in a timely manner
">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- ">
Leadership skills and ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders to successfully deliver projects
">Experience working in critical environments and facilities
">Knowledge of HS&E requirements
">Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services
">Understanding of basic technical aspects of property
">Ability to obtain and hold an AGSVA clearance and/or any additional associated entity clearances
