Job Overview:

As a site supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities. This includes ensuring safe and efficient delivery of services, leading a team of professionals, and promoting sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee workforce scheduling, safety, and compliance
  • Develop site-specific procedures and promote a positive work culture
  • Manage emergency and breakdown work on plant and equipment as required
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to your team
  • Internal and external stakeholder management with a focus on continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of recycling or heavy industry, with experience in site shutdowns
  • Experience managing a team in a processing and manufacturing environment
  • Tertiary or trade qualifications in mechanical or electrical fields
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
  • Experience in maintenance planning and procurement/subcontract management
  • Working knowledge of computer software e.g. SAP, Excel
  • Willingness to support 24/7 operations as after-hours contact may be required
